Aayush Mishra

Growing up in India, I started basketball at 9. I joined an academy called ABC and they taught me the basics. I never played in any proper tournaments because I wasn’t good enough, but the thrill of the sport kept me going.
I moved to the UK in 2024. That’s when I met Jonny and James in my school. That’s when I was first introduced to Arrows Basketball. I was hooked from the first training session where I met my coach - Joe.
Having a decent season, I was awarded with the ‘most improved player’ award for the 2024-25 season.
Besides basketball, I love to play badminton and learning new things.

Best thing about the Arrows:
It really does feel like a family. I never felt like I didn’t belong, despite not being from the UK.
